TrackMyStuff.org represents a revolutionary approach to product ownership and verification. We are currently developing blockchain integration to create a transparent and secure ecosystem for all types of products. This integration is part of our future roadmap as we work to enhance our platform's capabilities.

Future Blockchain Integration

Our platform is being developed to utilize blockchain network to create immutable records of product ownership and characteristics. In the future, each product will be represented by unique NFTs:

  • Product Identity NFT: Will contain permanent product attributes including:
    • Product Type
    • Brand
    • Model
    • Serial Number
  • Dynamic Attribute NFT: Will represent changeable characteristics like color, which can be updated when physical modifications occur

How It Works

Product Registration

When a product is registered, two NFTs are automatically generated: one for permanent attributes and another for dynamic characteristics.

Ownership Transfer

When a product changes hands, both the physical item and its associated NFTs are transferred to the new owner through our secure platform.

Product Updates

If a product's characteristics change (e.g., color), the dynamic NFT is burned and a new one is created with the updated information.

Platform Economics

To ensure platform sustainability and prevent abuse, we've implemented a token-based system:

  • Each user receives 100 platform coins monthly (non-accumulative)
  • Product registration or transfer costs 10 coins
  • Additional coins can be purchased if needed
  • This system helps maintain platform infrastructure and service quality

Sustainability Model

While our primary goal is to create a safer marketplace, maintaining a robust blockchain infrastructure requires resources. The token system helps cover:

  • Server and hosting costs
  • Blockchain network maintenance
  • Security infrastructure
  • Continuous platform development

This model ensures we can provide reliable, long-term service while keeping costs reasonable for users.
